Web design is at the core of what we do whether it's a large corporate system or just a home page for the smallest business.

Before there was Domino or Notes of the World Wide Web, there were computer Bulletin Board Systems that did the same thing. There was no standard graphical interface and most had no mouse support but even then we worked on projects that provided information, interfaced to back end databases, took customer orders, and provided dynamic data exchange.

Today we do the same things with Domino, HTML, XML, Java and JavaScript. While the look and feel are dramatically different and the interface and data exchange are done differently, the structure of a modern web site isn't that much different. The rules we learned on user interface haven't changed all that much. Today we can use color and graphics and have more complex forms but user's still want a simple, uncluttered layout.

What this means is that we're more interested in what the site needs to do that the technology to do it. Maybe you have data in Domino* databases and maybe the easiest way to make it available on the web is by using the web functionality of Domino. On the other hand, you may have a simpler need that can be done with a less robust tool like Front Page. If you don't host your own web site; then, you'd probably not be designing in Domino. Many of our small clients use Front Page and so do we. Either way, we may be able to help. Just because you don't use Lotus Domino or have a severely limited budget does mean that we wouldn't be interested in your needs. Give us a call and let's discuss your needs
